Paradis and Jeff Lang 5 p.m. Ceremony begins @ St. Mary’s Chapel (20 min. travel distance)
6 p.m. Reception officially begins. Guests will start to arrive. DJ Lamb will please play pleasant background music as guests mingle & eat. Bar will be open.
6:30
p.m. Bride and Groom arrive. Formal introduction of The Wedding
Party by DJ Lamb (Southampton by James Horner)… and then right into the
Bride & Groom’s First Dance = “Love of My Life” by Michael W Smith & Jim
Brickman (Client’s CD) 6:45
p.m. Formal Blessing – Bride’s Grandmother, Mrs. Vicki Paradis
7:45
p.m. Mother & Groom’s Dance = “Your Song” by Garth Brooks (457)
8:30 p.m. Cake Cutting – “Sugar Sugar” by The Archies (BB1969), Village People Skit!
9:15
p.m. Dollar Dance = DJ Lamb will orchestrate and explain the
tradition to guests (max of 3 songs, such as, “Sweet Caroline”, “I Made It
Through The Rain”, and “Red Red Wine”)
10:25 p.m. Newlyweds Last Dance of the Night – “Looking Through the Eyes of Love” (from Ice Castles) Reception officially ends.
Ø Do NOT play: Come’n’Ride the Train or any Heavy Rap. No props except during skit. Ø Do PLAY the following: Kenny Rogers (* esp. “Lady”), Brown Eyed Girl, You Light up My Life” by Debbie Boone, and a good variety of music for all ages (Top 40, Dance, Rock, Hip Hop, 80’s, 90’s, etc). Okay to take requests and dedications. One dedication is “To Wade, From Vickie” = “That’s What Friends are For” by Dionne Warwick. Be as interactive as necessary.
