5 p.m.              Guests begin to arrive for the Ceremony

5:30 p.m.          Ceremony begins – Processional (Deanna Carter), Bridal March (Wedding Song by KG), and Recessional (Hit the Road Jack by Buster Poindexter #20)

 

5:50 p.m.          Ceremony ends, and Cocktail begins.  Pleasant background music will be played.

 

6 p.m.              Formal Introduction of the Wedding Party by DJ Lamb – “This Will Be An Everlasting Love” by Natalie Cole, V3 #2.
Formal Welcome – DJ Lamb

DJ Lamb will announce dinner (buffet) – DJ Lamb will make sure that the Bride & Groom, their families, and the Bridal Party begin the line.

 

7:15 p.m.          Bride & Groom’s First Dance = “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Womack only (RH 64)
Father & Bride’s First Dance = “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle (RU 17, RH 42)

Mother & Groom’s First Dance = “Because You Love Me” by Celine Dion (37)
Bridal Party’s First Dance =  “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang ( # 4)
Open Dance Floor!

 

7:50 p.m.          Formal Toast = ????

Formal Cake Cutting = “From This Moment” by Shania Twain only (RH 51)
Longest Married Couple Dance = “Through the Years” by Kenny Rogers ( # 17)
Open Dance Floor! 

 

8:30 p.m.          Bouquet Toss = “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” by Shania Twain ( RH 56 )
                        Garter Removal & Toss = “Leggs” by ZZ Top ( # 15)
                        Garter On = “Satisfaction” by Rolling Stones (done DJ Lamb’s way) – Make them Dance?

Money Dance = Brief intro by DJ Lamb.  Best Man w/ the Bride, Maid of Honor w/ the Groom.  Keep the tradition to about 3 songs; nothing too mushy.

                        Open Dance Floor!

 

                         

9:55 p.m.          Bride & Groom’s Last Dance = ?????  Reception officially ends.

 

Ø      Do NOT play Soda Pop Groups (nsync, backstreet boys, britney, christina aguiliera) etc.

Ø      Do PLAY Devil Went Down to Georgia (# 30), Hero (RH69), Cotton Eye Joe & Tootsie Roll (Bride’s CD!), Motown Philly (Boyz II Men), Borderline (Madonna), Saturday in the Park (Chicago), High Tech Redneck (George Jones), in addition to a mix of Dance, Alternative, Rock, Hip Hop, 70’s-90’s, Disco, Beach, Techno, YMCA, and Twist.
