4 p.m.                         Ceremony begins @ Springdell Baptist Church (5 minutes away)

 

4:45 p.m.        Reception begins, and guests may arrive.  Cocktail Hour with Fruit and Refreshments

 

5:15 p.m.        Bride & Groom arrive.  Formal Introduction of the Wedding Party – Jock Jam Song         

                        Bride & Groom’s First Dance = “How Sweet It Is” by  James Taylor
                        Father & Bride’s First Dance = “The Music of my Heart”
by NSYNC & Gloria Estafen, RH56

Mother & Groom’s First Dance = “It’s Your Song” by Garth Brooks, 457
Formal Welcome by  DJ Lamb

Blessing by Adrian Vanderberg

DJ Lamb will announce the Buffet – Bride & Groom 1st, followed by the Bridal Party, and finally the Bride & Groom’s Families.

 

7 p.m.             Open Dance Floor – If appropriate.

 

7:45 p.m.        Formal Toast = Mr. Billy Viars (Groom’s Brothers), then open mic (10 minutes max)

                        Formal Cake Cutting = “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” by Pat Benatar, 25

                        Longest Married Couple Dance – “Through the Years” by Kenny Rogers

                        Open Dance Floor!

 

8:30 p.m.        Bulldog Toss – For the Children (candy provided by client) = “Who Let the Dogs Out”

                        Bouquet Toss = “Wishin and Hopin” by Dusty Springfield
                        Garter Removal = “Legs” by ZZ Top – Chair Treatment! # 15

                        Garter Toss = “Oh Yeah” by Yello – and that’s it!

                        Open Dance Floor!

 

9:30 p.m.        Bride & Groom’s Final Dance = “Let’s Get It On” by Marvin Gaye
Grand Exit = DJ Lamb will instruct guests to get their bubbles from those kids that are passing them out.  Reception officially ends.

 

Ø      Do NOT Play Eminem

Ø      Do PLAY the following = Brown Eyed Girl, I will Survive, I Feel Good (J Brown), My Girl, Steal my Kisses (T526), Build Me Up Buttercup, American Woman (RH54), I’m A Believer (RH68), and a mixture of Top 40, Alternative, Blues, Rock, Country, Motown, Hip Hop, 50’s to 90’s, and Beach/Shag.  Don’t forget the Electric Slide, The Train, YMCA, & Cha Cha Slide.

Ø      Okay to be as interactive as necessary.  Requests are welcome, and some props are acceptable.
