Wedding Reception Itineraries


Wedding – Saturday, May 21, 2005

6:15 p.m.          Prelude to the Ceremony.  Guests arrive.  Pleasant background music will be played while guests seat themselves.

 

6:25 p.m.          Tina Livingston begins the Pre-Processional with a song.  Reverend Jim Harris.

6:30 p.m.          Ceremony begins.

6:45 p.m.          Ceremony ends.  Guests may go inside or stay outside, where the Bridal Party is taking pictures.  Pleasant background music will be played at both the outside and inside locations.

 

7:30 p.m.          Reception officially begins.  Remaining guests arrive. 

Formal Welcome by DJ Lamb, who will also remind guests to sign-in (by the door).

Heavy Hors D’oeuvres, refreshments, and stations (including a carving station) will be present

NO formal introductions

NO formal blessing/grace

 

8:30 p.m.          Formal Toast – Bride’s Sister (Grace), no open mic.

Cake Cutting – How Sweet It Is by James Taylor
Bride & Groom’s 1st Dance – “You Are” by Jimmy Wayne T 736 ( ½ way through, DJ Lamb will invite guests to join the newlyweds).  Next, a classic ballad, followed by a Foxtrot (It Had To Be You, and “Moonlight Serenade”)

Open Dance Floor.

 

10:55 p.m.        Last dance.  Reception ends at 11 p.m.

 

Ø                  Keep all music appropriate and censored (nothing vulgar etc).  PLAY the following:  Keith Urban ( T 788 ), Love Shack, Electric Slide, YMCA, Macarena, Twist, Beach/Shag, etc.

Ø                  Requests acceptable.  DJ Lamb may be as interactive as necessary (or needed, based on crowd participation) – Waltz = “The Waltz you Saved for me”.

Ø                  NO party favors (except for children/youth) and NO skits.
