Wedding Itinerary for Saturday May 17, 2003

6:30 p.m.          Ceremony begins, next to the Viranda.

 

7 p.m.              Ceremony ends.  Cocktail Hour begins.  DJ Lamb will play pleasant background music as guests mingle & eat. Bar will be open.

 

7:30 p.m.          Formal introduction of the Bride & Groom (no Wedding Party) – “Southhampton” by J. Horner.
Bride & Groom’s First Dance = “It’s Your Love” by Tim McGraw & Faith Hill (378)
Formal Welcome by DJ Lamb
Formal Blessing = Chaplain or someone else.

 

8:45 p.m.          Formal Toast =  Best Man Dr. Robert Kluttz & Bride’s Father Mr. Edward Brett; that’s it!
Cake Cutting = “How Sweet It Is” by James Taylor
Father & Bride’s First Dance PLUS Mother & Groom’s  First Dance COMBINED…
“Have I Told You Lately” by Van Morrison (½  way through, invite Bridal Party, ¾ way through, invite the remaining guests unto the dance floor)
Longest Married Couple Dance = “Through the Years” by Kenny Rogers (DJ Lamb)

** Tentatively – Bouquet Toss w/ “Chapel of Love” by the Dixie Cups
Garter Removal w/ “Oh Yeah” by Yello, Garter Toss w/ Rocky Theme Song
and Garter On w/ Mission Impossible Theme Song (w/ no dancing)

 

10:45 p.m.        Newlyweds Last Dance of the Night – “Goodnight Sweetheart” by The Spaniels, followed by the Grand Exit w/ BELLS (Hanna and her friends will pass these out).  Reception officially ends. 

 

 

Ø      Do NOT play the Macarena.  NO props and skits.

Ø      Do PLAY the following:  Twist, Twist Again, and Dedication to Suzanne & John Cline (1 yr Anniversary the next day, Sunday) w/ “Let’s Stay Together”.  If time allows, PLAY:  Shake Your Groove Thing, Get Down Tonight, December 63, Grease Remix, Love Shack, and a good variety of music that is appropriate and clean.  Birthday Dedication to Rhonda Watson.

Ø      Requests & Dedications acceptable.  Be as interactive as necessary and Jason Evans Logan is * unique.
