5 p.m.              Ceremony will begin @ Lake Norman Baptist Church

 

6 p.m.              Reception officially begins.  Heavy Hors D’oeuvres & Refreshments.  DJ Lamb will play pleasant background while guests eat and mingle.

 

6:30 p.m.          Bride & Groom arrive.  Formal Introduction of Wedding Party by DJ Lamb (I Say A Little Pray – Diana King, Clients’ CD)
Bride & Groom’s First Dance – I Could Not Ask For More by Edwin McCain #55
No parent Dances
Formal Welcome by DJ Lamb – No Formal Blessing.
Background music will continue while guests eat and mingle.
 

8 p.m.              Special Birthday Dedication to Allison.
Formal Toast by the Best Man.  Open mic for 10 min only.
Cake Cutting = Eat It by Weird Al
Longest Married Couple Dance – Through the Years by Kenny Rogers
First Dance Song – Wedding Song by Paul Stookey
OPEN Dance Floor!

 

9:30 p.m.          Bouquet Toss = Wishin & Hopin by Dusty Springfield
Garter Toss = “Chair Treatment” (include ball&chain) w/ Leave Your Hat On by Joe Cocker
Garter On Tradition with the Winners = Let’s Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Open Dance Floor!

 

10:55 p.m.        Last Dance of the evening = You’re the One by the Carpenters (Clients’ CD!).  End of Reception.  No Grand Exit.

 

 

Ø      Do NOT play the Cha-Cha Slide!

Ø      DO PLAY a variety of music, such as, Top 40, Country, Dance, Alternative, Rock, Hip Hop, 50-90’s, Disco, and Beach/Shag.  Play Electric Slide, Chicken Dance, Hand Jive, Conga Line, Twist, Macarena, Old Time Rock’n’Roll, etc.  Requests and Props okay, when appropriate.
