Wedding Itinerary for Saturday March 1, 2003
Cabarrus Arena & Events Center – Gail Crooms

6:30 p.m.          Ceremony – St. John’s Lutheran Church (15 minutes away)

 

7 p.m.              Reception officially begins. Brief “Cocktail Hour” will take place. DJ Lamb will play Jazz while guests mingle & eat – Heavy Finger Foods.

 

7:30 p.m.          Formal Introduction of the Wedding Party (Southhampton by James Horner) by DJ Lamb.
Formal Welcome by DJ Lamb.
Formal Blessing by Pastor Mark Ericson.
** At some point, before dancing starts and most have eaten, there will be an attempt to get a Large Group Photo with the Photographer – all of which will be orchestrated by DJ Lamb.

 

9 p.m.              Bride & Groom’s First Dance - “Hawaiian Wedding Song” by Andy Williams (Their CD!)
Father & Bride’s First Dance – “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle
Mother & Groom’s First Dance – “Three Coins In A Fountain” by Frank Sinatra (Their CD!)
Bridal Party Dance – “Thank Heaven For Little Girls” by Maurice Chevalier-Gigi (Their CD!)
Family Dance – “Celebration” by Kool & the Gang
Open Dance Floor!

 

9:45 p.m.          Formal Toast – Groom’s Dad, that’s it.
Formal Cake Caking – First, DJ Lamb will briefly explain to guests the origins of this famous tradition, followed by “Love & Marriage” by Frank S.
Longest Married Couple Dance – “Through the Years” by K. Rogers
Open Dance Floor!

 

10:30 p.m.        Candy Toss – “Who Let the Dogs Out” by the Baha Men (candy supplied by the client)
Bouquet Toss – NONE!
Garter Toss – “Leave Your Hat On” by Joe Cocker ( The Chair! ).

 

11:25 p.m.        Bride & Groom’s Last Dance – “Come Away With Me” by Norah Jones (678)
Grand Exit – TBA
