Wedding Ceremony & Reception Itinerary

Tuesday, December 31, 2002 from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Stowe Manor (Martha & Sam)

Entertainment & MC – DJ Lamb

 

 

8 p.m.              DJ Lamb will be setup in the big room.  He will play the following songs as guests                         arrive:
                        (spotlight will be set up and pointed on the bride & groom, rose color)

Taking You Home (Henley, 534), From This Moment (Twain & White, 430),

Here & Now (Vandross, 18), The Sweetest Days (Vanessa Williams – Client’s CD!),

I Could Not Ask For More (Evans, 574), Come What May (McGregor & Kidman – Client’s CD!)

 

8:30 p.m.          Ceremony begins – Pastor Joe Lawing.  Processional (Seating of Ben’s Mother and Entrance of the Wedding Party, including the Bride) = Can You Feel the Love Tonight (John, 17).

                        Prayer (near the end) = For My Wedding (Henley, 557)

                        Recessional = We Can Get There (Griffin, 488)

 

8:45 p.m.         Ceremony tentatively ends. 

 

9:15 p.m.         Formal Introduction of the Wedding Party  = Southhampton (Horner)

Bride & Groom’s First Dance  = I Believe In You and Me (Houston, RH40)

** Request to orchestrate the Family Dance Tradition = We Are Family (Sledge)
Open Dance Floor!

 

 

10:15 p.m.        Formal Toast = Marty Hutchins & Grif Bond.  Open Mic for anyone else.

                        Formal Cake Cutting = Memories Are Made of This (Dean Martin)

** Longest Married Couple Dance will be orchestrated by DJ Lamb (Through the Years by Kenny Rogers)

 

12:25 a.m.        Last Dance of the Night = Last Dance (Donna Summer, 4)

 

 

Ø      Do NOT play Macarena, Mariah Carey, Michael Bolton, or Crying in your Beer Country Songs.  No Skits.

Ø      Do PLAY: Barry White (My 1st, My Last, My Everything), Any Madonna, Any Donna Summers, Toby Keith, Disco, ZZ Top, Top 40, Motown, Beach/Shag (little bit), 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, Electric Slide, YMCA, Cotton Eye Joe, Wild Wild West, Hustle, Men in Black.  Props okay.  Some Glow products for youth okay.  Requests/Dedication okay, but monitor them.
